After a long mid-season hiatus “Riverdale” was back with a fresh start. Last night was the 10th episode of season four, it was titled Chapter Sixty-Seven: ‘Varsity.’ The episode was the return of the next half of this season, and we had a lot to catch up on.

When we last left off we met some new characters. This next half of the season, just like all the others, started off with a bang. It seemed like there’s a new queen bee in town, had Cheryl finally met her match? In this episode, we finally got to see some high school football, but you and I both know nothing is as always as it seems in “Riverdale”. We are again seeing Betty and Jughead’s relationship tested with Jughead getting an interview with the same school that Betty got a rejection letter from. Will this put a wedge between there relationship? We will have to wait and see.

Betty was yet again trying to get dirt for the paper. Now it was on the opposing football team. Did they play dirty or was something more at play? Would we find out the whole story?

We picked up this episode with Veronica attempting to have her own business. It looked like she may be finally done with her father. We found Jughead being tested at his new school. Did these students really have his back, or were they going to be his worst nightmare?

I for one was happy to finally see a scene with our favorite girl duo Betty and Veronica. I have to say that need more scenes with them. It’s not just the characters, but the actors show such joy in scenes they are in. At the end of this episode, we were left to wonder if we would find out the truth behind Jughead’s school? What secrets lie beneath the surface?

We will have to just wait and see. So sit back relax and enjoy the rollercoaster.
