Just Announced…
“Westworld” fans are excited to hear the news that one of their favorites, Rodrigo Santoro, will be starring opposite Sarah Michelle Gellar in the new series “Wolf Pack.” Paramount+ broke the news today. Lately known and loved for his role as in “Westworld,” the Rio de Janeiro born star was also recently in the six-part miniseries “Boundless,” and the film “7 Prisoners” which won Best Foreign Language Film at the 2021 Venice Film Festival. He will star opposite Buffy-famed Sarah Michelle Gellar in the new MTV Entertainment Studios produced series. Production has begun in Atlanta, GA and is set to premiere later this year in the U.S. and internationally. Other may know him from his role in the movie “Project Power” opposite Jamie Fox and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
The show is based on a book series by Edo Van Belkom, “Wolf Pack” follows a teenage boy and girl whose lives are forever changed when a California wildfire awakens a terrifying supernatural creature. Santoro plays Garrett Briggs, a Los Angeles park ranger dedicated to protecting the environment, and adoptive father to the remarkable teenagers. A man of strong values, he is also someone with dark secrets and deep suspicions, especially towards anyone questioning the relationship with his children who were found in the wildfire years earlier.
He joins previously announced cast members include Sarah Michelle Gellar, Armani Jackson (“Honor Society,” “Chad”) Bella Shepard (“iCarly,” “The Wilds”), Chloe Rose Robertson (“Wildflower”) and Tyler Lawrence Gray (“Our Town,” “Macbeth”). The series is written and executive produced by Jeff Davis.
