William Shatner is coming to StarFest Denver and he will be joined by one of the stars of “The Orville” Scott Grimes.

A Denver area tradition, StarFest has one of the most popular annual events for con-goers 42 years and counting. Year after year fans come from all around the Rocky Mountain region to get up close and personal with celebrities, hang out with friends, show off stunning cosplay, and of course, hit the dealer’s room.

This annual celebration is actually made up of so many “fests” that offer up plenty of geeky goodness to enjoy. The convention even spills over to the Hilton next door with ComicFest.

On top of the “fests” there will be the annual Federation Ball, Texas Hold ’em tournament, Escape Room, and Monster Machines. Gaming enthusiasts will be catching up with friends and meeting new ones with tabletop fun, of course, the big Costume Contest on Saturday night.


Joining Shatner and Grimes are artist Mike Hoffman of Marvel, DC and Dark Horse, and with nearly 600 comic titles on his resume, artist Dan Green. More guest announcements are in the works so stay tuned to StarFest socials:

Ticket prices are for a three-day adult pass is $65 in advance/ $70 at the door, kids under 10 are free. Saturday and Sunday individual day pricing is $45 in advance, $50 at the door.
