“Supernatural” star Misha Collins is pulling out all the stops with creativity during these difficult times in quarantine. Nerd Alert News caught up with the fan-favorite angel to find out how he and his family are staying sane while COVID-19 is turning our world upside down. Not only is Collins keeping his household occupied he is continually looking for ways to help others during this time of crisis.
In this time of quarantine, we’ve been taking steps to make sure our family stays entertained by bonding over fun, communal activities. One of our favorite activities is physically-distant Twister, but we’re also pretty fond of the sport of endurance handwashing. I don’t want to brag, but I think with a little practice, my kids might have an Olympic future in the freestyle solo-scrub.
We’re also using this government-sanctioned “together” time to reconnect and have fun doing some “crisis cooking”. Our favorite comfort food to prepare is “Whatever Is About To Go Bad Soup” (We like to read “Stone Soup” as inspiration right before we make this.)
Along with his encouraging messages, Collins is making a difference encouraging people to chip in to support our nurse heroes.
They're doing so much for us, so the LEAST we could do is buy them dinner. Chip in to help #supportheronurses! https://t.co/vW2Dnq4C0a

Desperate times call for desperate hairdressers in the Collins household. His kids are cooks, artists, and hairdressers apparently.
Remember, even during quarantine: what matters most is not how you feel on the inside, it’s how you look on the outside. #HomeGroomingLessons pic.twitter.com/oKyAptCEWV

Many people are blessed with spare time to help or encourage others. Why not do it the old-fashioned way and write a meaning letter to someone who has made a difference in your life?
I want to start a trend: #LettersOfGratitude. I’ll start, then you write one to someone from your past — because right now, people who have done good deserve to be reminded of it.

The SPN Family is there for each other during good times and bad. This sense of family is felt throughout the fandom with the love and support of not only the fans but the cast of the show.
