The film “2040” does what seems to be the impossible and presents a positive vision of where humanity might be. Throughout this documentary, the director takes its viewers through a positive journey guided by interviews with innovators in economics, technology, agriculture, education, and others. These experts show their hopes for future generations that the fight for climate justice is not over by any means.
What is amazing about this film is it especially empowers women and girls to create their own action plans. Follow these prompts to activate your own action plan. It takes the reader step by step through what possible solutions to get excited about. Chose and learn about empowering women and girls, marine regeneration, regenerative agriculture, renewable energy, and circular economy.
Award-winning director Damon Gameau helms the project along with Eva Lazzaro and Velvet Gameau, and it is produced by GoodThing Productions and Regan Pictures. The executive producers are Ian Darling, Malinda Wink, Mark Monroe, Paul Wiegard, and William Gammon.
