Who would believe that a human could be immune to lightning? Who has seen a UFO that split and dove underwater? UFO enthusiasts of course. The average person would no doubt freak out if they heard apocalyptic sounds in their backyard, yet not these fans. AlienCon has a special discussion coming up this Thursday, Jan. 28th at 8:00 pm ET/5:00 pm PT. The latest technology and authentication techniques are used to give credence to the bizarre thanks to a team of experts and investigators who go through the videos and allow the viewers to decide if it is real or not. The team that will take the audience through the journey is made up of Tony Harris, Alexis Brooks, and Miguel Sancho in conversation with Alejandro Rojas.

The presentation is free to those who register. UFO fans will probably have to wait another year until they can enjoy an in-person convention, and these online events definitely help take the edge off.

Historians have researched for over 2,400 years about this fascinating lost city in the ocean. Is there actually physical evidence that it existed? “Stargate” fans had five seasons of a series to wonder about its purpose.

According to the History Channel, “it was around 360 B.C. when Plato first mentioned Atlantis—or rather, he told a story inside a story inside a story, about an event that happened 9,000 years before his birth. A series of concentric-circle island, roughly the size of Texas, Atlantis was purportedly located to the west of the Pillars of Hercules (the modern Straits of Gibraltar). According to Plato, the continent had been created by Poseidon, and bequeathed to his son Atlas, for whom the island-nation and surrounding ocean was named. Being the creation of a god, it’s not hyperbole to say that the place was awesome: riches, wonders, and advanced medicine, technology, and agriculture.”

Was it real or just a wonderful work of fiction that has kept people fascinated for thousands of years. Either way, it is certainly fun to learn about.
