Arcadian Atlas is a love letter to classic RPGs. It is the brainchild of a passionate team that grew up with a deep appreciation for the pixel art masterpieces of the 90s. The developer, Twin Otter Studios, was created by siblings Taylor & Becca Bair, programmer Paddy Otterness and musician Moritz P.G. Katz. Combining their love for those classic RPGs with a desire to create something fresh and innovative, they set out to craft a tactical RPG that would leave a lasting impression on players. Drawing inspiration from genre classics, the team embarked on the journey to give birth to Arcadian Atlas. It is set in the kingdom of Arcadia, a land fraught with political factions and treacherous intrigues. As if the turmoil within the kingdom wasn’t enough, ancient malevolent forces are beginning to awaken, threatening to plunge the realm into darkness. At the center of this turmoil is a queen desperate to ascend to the throne, willing to do anything to achieve her goals.
In your quest to save Arcadia, you’ll be tasked with building an elite party of adventurers from a diverse roster of more than 12 unique classes. Each class boasts its own custom skill trees and specialized equipment, ranging from potion-brewing apothecaries to magic-channeling warmancers. As you explore the world of Arcadia, strategic, turn-based battles will determine the fate of both the kingdom and its people. Remember, every action counts, as one wrong move could lead to catastrophic consequences for your party and the land.
