There are 12 shows that do not need to wait until Spring for the season 2021-2022 renewal announcements. The CW bosses were particularly excited to see that “Walker” debuted their most-watched series premiere in 5 years. With pretty much a guaranteed core audience thanks to devoted “Supernatural” fans, “Walker” has all the social media buzz over its first three episodes. The series’ first season will total out at 18 episodes and look forward to a very bright season 2.

Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch will fly viewers away with a “super” two-hour series premiere on Tuesday, February 23. The 90-minute first episode will be followed by a Superman & Lois: Legacy of Hope special. There’s no doubt that viewers still cannot get enough of “Superman” storylines.

The CW Network Chairman and CEO Mark Pedowitz made a lot of people happy with his announcement Feb. 3, 2021.

“Though we’re just a few weeks into the new season, we wanted to get a strategic head start on next season with these early renewals, which allows our production teams to start laying out story arcs and hiring staff, and at the same time, continues to provide us with a strong, stable schedule to build on for next season,” said Pedowitz. “As The CW’s 2020-2021 season kicks into high gear, we are thrilled creatively with the direction of our first new shows out of the gate, WALKER and SUPERMAN & LOIS, that we wanted to order the additional episodes to complete their first seasons, and we are particularly pleased with the huge success of the launch of WALKER.
