Tiny spoiler nuggets came out of the 300th episode celebration. The cast and crew celebrated the incredible milestone of reaching 300 episodes on Nov. 16, 2018, in Vancouver, BC. and shared what they could with fans.
The bunker has been home for the past five years and what fans have grown to love will be the central focus of the episode, but what else do we know? Will there be angel time travel? Who will be the super-secret guest star? When will viewers get to see it?
When will be 300th episode air?
An air date for Supernatural‘s 300th episode has yet to be announced. Could it air on Dean Winchester’s birthday, January 24th? Probably not, but wouldn’t that be cool! So far all we know is that it will be the 13th episode of the season. According to IMDB episode, 14.10 will air Jan 17, 2019. That would leave 14.11 to Jan. 17th, 14.12 Jan. 24th. Will Feb. 7th would be the magical day?
What will the episode be about?
Bob Singer: “We know that the bunker’s in Lebanon, KS. They go out for beer runs, but we never see where they’re buying they’re buying the beer or the eggs or whatever, so for the first time we’re going to see Lebanon, KS, and see people who live in the town and how they react to the guys.”
Will we see a different version of Castiel?
Castiel fans have a lot to get excited about. According to Bob Singer, “There’s a little bit of time travel that comes into play in the 300th episode, and we’ll see a different version of Cas.” All Misha Collins could confirm with a devilish smirk, was that he was indeed in the episode.
We will see where the Winchester brothers buy their groceries.
Jared Padalecki: “Where do they get their money? Where do they buy their booze? How do they get their pizza? What does their Chinese joint look like? What does their liquor store look like? We get to see a bit of their world which I think flushes it out and makes the story more rich. We also get to see what the locals think of these guys. We get to see what normal people in a small town think of the crazy, weird dudes who are always wearing flannel and driving an Impala.”
Jensen Ackles said that he was more excited about the 300th episode then he had been in a while. “I’m really, really pretty pumped about the concept. Also, know that he and I have spent more time on the phone with the writers in LA about the script than any other script on the show”.
We will see a special guest star that has fans dying to know?
Bob Singer: “They’re also a guest star I think the audience is gonna be–someone you know–that’s as far as I’ll go.”
