Missing conventions? We are too. Thankfully organizations such as Wizard World are engaging audiences with their Virtual Experiences.
“Stargate SG-1” ran from 1997-2007 and “Stargate Atlantis” from 2004-2009. It has been a while since fans have enjoyed some fresh “Stargate” goodness. The “Stargate” community will recognize some of their favorites. Lt. Colonel John Sheppard himself Joe Flanigan, Teryl Rothery (Dr. Janet Fraiser), Corin Nemec (Jonas Quinn), Cliff Simon (Ba’al), Alexis Cruz (Skaara/Klorel), Paul McGillion (Dr. Carson Beckett), and David Nykl (Dr. Radek Zelenka). These actors will be joining fans virtually and provide some much-needed joy. Mark the calendar for Sat, Jan. 30th at 4 p.m. ET / 1 p.m. PT.
Along with the “Stargate” cast members, there will be other celebs joining in the fun. Actress Morgan Fairchild (Friends, Falcon Crest), cast members from the horror film series “Hatchet,” Chris Kattan from “Saturday Night Live,” and from the “Legally Blonde” crew Jessica Cauffiel (“Margo”) and Alanna Ubach (“Serena”). There will also be another ‘Charmed Against Humanity’ session and rewatch parties. The activities start tonight.
It’s all about home entertainment in this pandemic world and trying to stay sane is everything right now. There is always a bright side: These panels are free! These 45-minute sessions can be viewed live or on-demand via Twitch, YouTube, and Facebook. Viewers can even submit questions in the text chat. For those who wish to dive a little deeper, they can purchase live video chat sessions, recorded videos, and autographs, and virtual photo ops, and one-on-one video chats.
