Talk about a blast from the past, earlier this week one of the stars from the show “Zoey 101” posted a photo on Instagram with the cast having a reunion, minus the main actress. Jamie Lynn Spears couldn’t be there due to her filming a new show. Not sure if they’re in talks for a reboot or not but how awesome would that be? The post stated that they haven’t all been in the same room together for 10 years now. That’s hard to believe.

I remember when the show first aired, I was 14 and about to be a freshman in high school. I know so crazy right? I can remember watching new episodes every week, and I couldn’t wait to see what was going to happen next. If anyone is unfamiliar with the show “Zoey 101,” it was about a girl named Zoey where she and her brother were starting a new school that was far from home. It was called PCA which translated to the Pacific Coast Academy, a private boarding school. It was also the first time that they were allowing girls to go to school there, I mean can you even imagine that you are far from home, and then on top of that the school had always been an all-boys school?

The show centers on Zoey making friends and learning to adjust through the trials and tribulations at school. Of course, most of us have never experienced a boarding school, but we all went to a type of school where we had to deal with the same kind of experiences. I for one had never realized how much that series taught me. At the time of starting a new school, I didn’t know anyone on my first day. We don’t really look at how much certain shows help us along the way. It just goes to show us that we can look back at these TV shows years later and say that they had an impact on our life’s.
