There is something special about anime conventions. Almost every attendee comes dressed in cosplay.

Colorado Anime Fest returns to the Denver Marriott Tech Center the weekend of March 10-12, 2023. This annual event is highlighted on the calendars of fans anxiously waiting to show off their cosplay. Anime conventions seriously have the most amazing costume creations of any event. Their passion for the sewing needle and glue gun transforms characters from their favorite Anime into works of art. Nerd Alert News is excited to take in the sights!

The guests this year boast amazing talent. Guests of Honor include Jerry Jewell, Kira Buckland, Teca Cosplay, Keith Silverstein, Griffin Burns, Lucien Dodge, Erica Mendez, and Kyla McCarley. Click to read their bios here.

The passes are affordable too at just $50.00 for an adult weekend registration and $25.00 for a child (7-12) registration. Full registration details and hotel booking information here.

To say that they love anime is an understatement. It is a passion for a unique media that has grown exponentially over recent years. Networks like Netflix have been offering some amazing anime content lately and the popularity just keeps growing.

Anime fans are far more than friends. They are family, and their love for the art is unlike any other fandom. The attendees of anime conventions embody a kindness and respect that is not always found at other conventions.

Colorado Anime Fest was founded in 2014 by a group of friends with decades of combined experience, having run dozens of events across the country. They hosted their first convention in 2016, and they know that they would not be where we are today without their dedicated staff who loves what they do. On top of that, this event donates to local charities.

For those who want to book a room at the Marriott, the room block is almost full. Jump on it!
