No thanks to living in “Pandemic World,” new TV content is going to start looking pretty slim. Thankfully CW’s latest installment called “DC’s Stargirl” was able to get its first season in. Airing on The CW Network on Tuesdays (8:00-9:00 pm ET/PT), and then streaming the next day on CW’s free platform, superhero fans can still get their fresh fix. For those fans who are already caught up, the second half of the most recent episode, ‘Stars & S.T.R.I.P.E. Part Two’ will be airing this Tuesday, Aug. 10th.

New to “DC’s Stargirl?” The series follows high school sophomore Courtney Whitmore (series star Brec Bassinger, “Bella and the Bulldogs,” “School of Rock,” “The Goldbergs”) as she inspires an unlikely group of young heroes to stop the villains of the past. This new drama reimagines Stargirl and the very first superhero team, the Justice Society of America, in an unpredictable series. The series focuses on the character that started creator Geoff Johns’ career as a comic book writer when he created her in 1999, lovingly inspired by his late sister who was killed in a 1996 plane crash.

Check out the trailer and watch the entire season.

While some shows such as “Supernatural,” “The Flash,” “Superman & Lois,” and “Riverdale” are resuming production somewhere from August 20th to August 27th, it might be a while before new content will be coming across those TV screens. The cast and crew will be self-isolating for two weeks prior to getting back to work.
