Wizard World’s ‘Smallville’ Virtual Convention is August 22nd.

The TV show ‘Smallville‘ was one of the CW’s most popular shows. Ranking in the top 10 in nearly all entertainment outlets. The 3-time Primetime Emmy Award-winning show premiered in October of 2001 and ran for 10 seasons. Until “Supernatural” topped 10 years, “Smallville” was the CW’s longest-running drama. The story followed a young Clark Kent as he navigated life in Kansas as a teen and young adult while coming to terms with his future as a superhero. Along his journey, he encounters other superheroes and villains including Aquaman, theGthe Arrow, Supergirl, and the Black Canary.

The casting of Tom Welling as Clark/ Superman and Michael Rosenbaum as Lex Luthor was a key element for the show’s success. Welling and Rosenbaum are often revered as the best versions of the iconic characters. With the 10 year anniversary of the show’s conclusion approaching, the upcoming Wizard World Virtual Convention seems fitting. While Wizard World is known to bring high caliber guests to their various annual conventions, COVID has changed the landscape and brought the conventions into our homes instead. On Aug. 22, 2020, Wizard World brings the cast of the beloved show to fans, with a free live Q&A, and various experiences available for purchase.
