Big Apple Comic Convention is a New York City-based con that has been going strong since 2009. The convention is organized by creator Michael Carbonaro. This year’s 2019 convention was held on March 10-11, 2019. There was so much to see at this convention held in The Pennsylvania Hotel. The two-day event had an array of guests and vendors from comic legends to pop culture stars. Michael Colter was among the guests, as well as Gigi Edgley, Brent Spiner, Mary Wilson, and some of the vendor’s that we had the pleasure of meeting were Christian S. Aluas, the creator of Big Boss. As well as, Peter David, a comic book legend who actually was in a Stan Lee tribute panel.

Throughout the weekend, I had the pleasure of meeting the motion capture cast of “Godzilla King of the Monsters”. The cast included TJ Storm, Jason Lilles, Alan Maxson, and Richard Darton. “Godzilla” is set to be released May 31st, 2019 where fans can see the actors who had the pleasure of the monsters in the movie.

Some interesting things seen and learned about the convention were as follows: Wild Bill’s Soda hydrating the con, the creators of gooljitzu, a martial arts aimed at zombie fighting, an insanely creative costume party, and the coolest con-goers around. The convention was beautifully done with so much to see and so much to keep you entertained from their interesting panel line ups and cool ways to meet your favorite guests.

Big Apple Comic Con was insanely amazing this year, big thanks to everyone that made it happen. Go check them out and head to NYC next year for this crazy awesome event.
