“Supernatural” convention guests put on a show to remember, despite the absence of their friend Jared Padalecki. Nerd Alert News’ photographer Julie LaRue shares her experience in up close and personal photos.
“I attended the “Supernatural” convention in Washington, DC Nov. 1-3, 2019. It was the first time since I’ve started attending cons that one of the headliners had to cancel. The vibe was definitely a bit different than it normally was. I had spoked to several people who flew from other countries just to see Jared Padalecki, who had to cancel the convention due to personal reasons. They were of course very upset by the news. Thankfully on Sunday, Jensen Ackles stepped up in the absence of his friend. He was his usual funny and charming self and made sure to let everyone know that Jared was doing okay. All in all, it was a very different but fun convention!”….Toniann Pagan
